The Mud - The BahamasDefinition The Mud is a Haitian settlement on Abaco Island in the Bahamas that is a home to a large Haitian community of more than 2,000 Haitian families. "The Mud" borders Pigeon Pea, another Haitian settlement in the Bahamas Recent news articles noted that "The Mud" that was built on state land and that these families ay soon be evicted.
